I also had an episode of kidney stones shortly after my surgery. You're lucky you were able to pass the stone. I was in the hospital for almost a week and ended up having to travel 100+ miles to another hospital that had a lithotripsy (sp?) machine. A kidney stone is something I don't ever want to experience again! I try to limit my caffiene intake and I drink lots & lots of water. Good luck - I hope you feel better soon!
